Delete your account
You can permanently delete your Scolefy account, and everything stored in it, from inside the app. You do not need to contact us and there is nothing to fill in.
How to do it
- If you have Scolefy Premium, cancel it first. Your subscription is billed by the store you bought it from and outlives your account — deleting the account does not stop the charges. See What is not deleted below.
- Open Scolefy and go to the Profile screen.
- Tap Delete Account.
- Confirm at the prompt — it warns that this cannot be undone.
- Sign in once more with the method you use for Scolefy (Apple, Google, or your email and password). Apple requires a recent sign-in before an account can be deleted, which is what this step is for.
Deletion begins immediately. Your account is removed straight away and an automated server process clears your stored data.
What gets deleted
- Your account and sign-in credentials
- Your classes, subjects and timetable
- Your assignments, recurring series and templates
- Your grades, grading systems, terms and archived school years
- Your study sessions and timer history
- Every file you attached — photos, scans, PDFs and drawings
- Your synced settings and preferences
- The copy of your data held on the device you are signed out of
What is not deleted
- Your subscription. Deleting your account does not cancel an active Premium subscription, and we cannot cancel it for you — only the store that sold it can. If you subscribed on your iPhone, cancel in Settings → Apple Account → Subscriptions → Scolefy, or, if you no longer have the device, sign in with the same Apple Account at apps.apple.com/account/subscriptions from any browser.
- Purchase records. Apple, and our subscription provider, retain transaction records for tax, accounting and dispute-resolution purposes.
- Aggregated analytics. Statistics that can no longer be linked to you personally are not reversible and remain in aggregate reporting.
- Disaster-recovery backups. Residual encrypted copies may remain temporarily until overwritten under the provider’s backup cycle. They are isolated from ordinary use and would be deleted again if a backup had to be restored.
This cannot be undone. There is no recovery period and no way for us to restore a deleted account. If you want to keep anything, export or screenshot it before you start.
Just want to sign out instead?
Signing out removes the copy of your data from that device but leaves your account and your cloud data intact. Sign back in on any device to get everything back. Use Profile → Sign Out.
Trouble deleting?
If you cannot sign in to complete the deletion — for example you have lost access to the email address on the account — email support@zinxstudios.com from an address you can access and describe the account. We will verify ownership and delete it for you within 30 days.
